Co-op Dayton is marking ten years of building economic democracy — giving communities like Dayton real control over the resources and decisions that shape our lives. For a decade, we have championed worker and community ownership to build lasting community wealth in Dayton, and now we are inviting the community to celebrate with us.

The Future Is Cooperative is our 10th anniversary campaign and signature fundraiser, bringing together the people, organizations, and communities who believe Dayton's future should be owned by the people who live and work here. Through a celebration, a community tour, and a webinar series, we are honoring a decade of cooperation — and building the foundation for the next ten years.

10-Year Anniversary Party

Join us for an evening of joy, connection, and reflection as we celebrate Co-op Dayton's tenth anniversary!

We are excited to bring together the incredible people, organizations, and communities we have worked alongside to build a just local economy through cooperatively-owned enterprises. Enjoy delicious bites and drinks, an evening of storytelling, and the chance to connect with fellow community members ready to build the cooperative future ahead.

From our roots in community organizing that sparked Gem City Market, to today’s focus on economic democracy, our cooperative and social enterprise incubator, growing loan fund, and fiscal sponsorship program - Co-op Dayton has always worked toward a vision of community self-determination, where we look to each other to meet our common needs.

We want this event to be accessible to everyone, so we have decided to keep this event free. However, this is a big opportunity for us to invite you to support our 10th Year fundraising campaign, The Future is Cooperative.
