Startup Cooperatives
for new businesses
Co-op Dayton offers a series of on-demand videos, live workshops and a toolkit on cooperative leadership and design to teams of activists and entrepreneurs.
Over 6 months, the teams strengthen their relationships and leadership skills, complete market research, create a business plan, pilot their product or service, and pitch for startup funds.
LIVE WORKSHOPS
Each month, a live workshop is offered to learn key business development skills from subject matter experts.
COACH SESSIONS
We coach new co-op teams as they build business plans, grow their relationships, grow their capacity to collaborate, recruit members, raise capital, and operate their cooperatives. As needed, meetings can be scheduled with Co-op Dayton staff, and outside advisors, to address acute business issues and for general support of progress towards goals.
