What is Co-Own?
Co-Own is a six-week accelerator for groups in Dayton who want to turn their vision into something real. Whether it’s a store, a project, or a community space—this program gives your team the structure, tools, and support to make it last.
Who It’s For
Friends, neighbors, or coworkers already dreaming together
Community groups or grassroots organizers
Teams working on an early-stage business or nonprofit idea
People who believe in shared ownership and community wealth
Co-Own might not be the right fit if:
You’re only looking to make quick money and aren’t focused on community impact
You want full control and don’t want to share decision-making with others
You’re not open to learning new ways of working or building with a team
You already have a well-established business with strong systems and a full staff
You’re looking for a traditional startup or solo founder program
This program is for people who are open, collaborative, and ready to try a new way of building something meaningful for their neighborhood, community, or city—even if they don’t have all the answers yet.
What You’ll Walk Away With
By the end of six weeks, your group will have:
A shared vision and clear goals
Defined roles and responsibilities
A decision-making process that works for your team
Tools to stay organized and accountable
A roadmap to keep moving forward—even when things get tough.
Why It Matters
This isn’t just about starting a business. It’s about solving problems, keeping resources in the neighborhood, and building community wealth that lasts.
