Co-op Dayton and the Ohio Employee Ownership Center at Kent State University are pleased to offer workshops and 1on1 technical assistance to small businesses in Greene, Miami, and Preble counties to develop their succession plans and optionally explore employee ownership.

Workshops: Our workshops provide participants with an overview of the business succession (exit planning) process, as well as more detailed action steps for a successful exit, so that owners can begin to set goals and build their teams for an eventual transition. We also outline exit options, including an introduction to the option of selling the company to the employees.

1on1 Technical Assistance: Interested business owners can schedule individual meetings with program staff to discuss their goals for their business, receive personalized guidance, and develop a formal business succession or exit plan.
